Once upon a time...

There was a horse, a mare to be exact, she had a deep brown coat that ended with the black around her knees, a black nose and mouth, a mane and tail of long black hair and large brown eyes.

Not too long ago she was once the steed of Jacob Grimm, one of the brothers grimm, a duo of traveling con artists, it all changed one day when the two brothers were sent to the small german village of Marbaden by the French General Delatombe to investigate the disappearances of young girls which was caused by the mirror queen who was working her enchantment to regain her beauty.

During the Grimm's investigation of the tower in the enchanted forest, the Queen's huntsman fed the horse magic spiders as a plot to kidnap another girl, unfortunately the plot was secessful, shortly after returning to the village, the horse lured a young girl named Elsie into the barn where the mare was stabled, then spewing webs from her mouth and entangling the girl she swallowed the child whole.

After devouring the girl the horse ran back into the forest, the Grimms along with a huntress named Angelika, tried to capture the horse but was thwarted by the magic trees of the forest, allowing the mare to escape.

A day later, after the mare's bewitchment and Elsie's kidnapping, the mirror queen's plot was foiled by the brothers grimm, which resulted in her magic mirror, the source of her life being destroyed along with her tower and the girls she had kidnapped were returned to the village.

Even though the wicked queen had died, the forest remained enchanted as well as some of the creatures that dwell within, though now without the queen to control them, the animals became wild, the horse being one of them.

The mare soon discovered that the spiders that were fed to her had not only made her able to shoot webs out of her mouth but has also granted her other abilities as well, her intellect had been increased, allowing her to communicate verbally via words, an increased sense of smell simular to a bloodhound, new dimensions of movement, making her able to stand up straight on two legs and walk like a human. Along with webspining she had gained two other spider like qualities, she now had fangs filled with paralyzing venom and being able to climb walls and other surfaces.

With the queen dead and now possessing magically granted intelligence and new abilities, she decided not to return to her previous master and instead live freely within the forest.

The rose into the morning sky, it's rays shining across the german landscape, the sunlight reaching an abandon barn that rested in the forest, it's interior filled old straw and some farming equipment, the only difference was that almost everything was covered in thick webs.

Inside a web coated stall the spider horse rested. The sunlight shone through the window of the old barn, hitting her, opening her eyes, she slowly raised her head and yawned, webs and the spiders within her mouth briefly visible. She then got to her hooves and shook, shaking of some straw and some webbing.

Just then her stomach rumbled, hunger soon following, normally a horse like her would head out and find a grassy field to graze in, but swallowing a girl whole, her diet now consisted of meat.

After some stretching the horse then headed out to find some prey...
