The full moon was approaching, and everyone had agreed to reach the next blockade tonight, but this section of Tartarus was very special and proved to be much longer than expected. All team members were exhausted and there was only one last shadow to defeat.
This shadow was shaped like a guillotine, and although it looked much more harmless than the others, it turned out to be a nightmare to fight, knocking out all members except you and your partner. You were so badly wounded that you could not tell who it was, and the only thing you could do was defend yourself from the shadow on pure instinct.
For a moment, you saw an opening, you didn't have enough energy to use your persona, so you decided to go all out with your sword, and without thinking, you launched yourself into an attack that would surely end this battle.
- ¡¡¡¡Leader!!!!
You heard your partner approach you, either to stop you or to help you with the blow, and after a few seconds you heard the sword cut the flesh. Falling out of the air, you watched as the shadow you had worked so hard to defeat disappeared, taking a body with it.
The sight of your body from a third person disturbed you, and you realized that you obviously could not feel your limbs; you tried to look for your companion's head, but you had no neck to look beyond your field of vision.
- I remember hearing that when a person is severed, the head remains alive for a few seconds. You thought to yourself.
Knowing that in a moment you would close your eyes forever, you thought a little about your life.
Since the death of your parents, a constant depression had haunted you, you were an empty shell who let yourself be carried away by your surroundings, while you only cared about living in apathy. By this logic, you wouldn't have minded dying, but things had changed this year: you had opened up to people and had managed to make many friends, from classmates at school to your own dorm mates/SEES members.
You felt bad for your classmate who lost his life with you, but you decided to focus your last thoughts on yourself. You regretted not being able to live your life to the fullest. You wanted to keep hearing about Kenji and how he tried to romance the teacher. You wanted to keep playing with Maiko in the afternoon, you wanted to keep talking to Mutatsu in the evening.
- I just wanted to be able to extend this year, to avoid this death and to continue to live my life with everything. You thought as you closed your eyes and said goodbye to this world.

You don't know how long you were unconscious, but soon you could hear the sound of many voices around you. You recognized certain voices around you, but you couldn't articulate what they were saying?
- Is this what they mean by seeing your life flash before your eyes in death? You thought as you tried to make sense of it.
Your head hurt a lot, but you were surprised, weren't you dead? You tried to open your eyes and a bright light blinded you. You closed your eyes again as you heard a commotion around you. You felt weak and your body wanted to pass out again, but you did your best to open your eyes and stay conscious.
At first, you were unable to process the images, but after a few seconds, you could make out Fuuka's presence in front of you.
- Wasn't she dead? you thought.
Maybe you were so tired that you collapsed after the last blow and what you saw from then on was an allusion. Your head hurt badly and you closed your eyes again while you heard the voices of your friends.
You didn't want to waste time and after a few seconds you opened your eyes again and tried to get up, it was quite difficult to move your body, so you decided to see his condition
At first, you saw a combat jacket covering you, the strange thing was that it felt much looser than the one you normally wore, and you could see two mounds coming out of it which scared you, but when you saw a pink cardigan, you knew that the body around your neck was not yours, it was the one of the partner who had accompanied you at the end of the fight: Yukari.
Suddenly all your senses reacted and even lying down you could feel every part of your body, you could now feel your new figure, the weight of your new breasts on your chest, the size of your new butt, the wind blowing under your skirt, the measurements that reached your knees and the comfortable feeling of your clothes.
You felt strange and of course you wanted to try to understand what had happened, but when you turned your head, you could see to your left what you were looking for. There was Yukari, or at least Yukari's head with your body covered by Junpei's jacket. It seemed that she had not regained consciousness and was still sleeping.
- Don't move or say a word, just blink twice if you're okay. Mitsuru said as she stood in your field of vision.
Obviously, if you were alive, it was because they had somehow managed to reattach your head to a body, so it was normal that they were worried and asked you to move as little as possible. The problem, and what you wanted to know, was why they had attached you to Yukari's body and her to yours?
You decided to follow their instructions and blinked twice to let them know that you were aware and understood them.
Seeing that you looked at her and blinked twice, Mitsuru and the rest of the team let out a sigh of relief. When they heard Fuuka celebrating with Junpei and Akihiko, Mitsuru shed a few tears of joy and said
- Thank God we were able to save you, you don't know how happy I am that you're alive... .
