Mark was confused by the entire conversation but knew he had to check the garage to see what the man was talking about. As he reached the garage, he noticed the door was closed. He opened the garage door and saw that nothing was different. He looked past the boxes of Christmas decorations and random junk and eventually spotted a weird looking sheet sticking up. He followed the path that seemed to cut through everything in the garage and reached an open space in the back. Looking in the large space, Mark notice something massive hiding under a white bed sheet. Pulling it off, he was faced with a strange looking machine.
“What the hell is this thing,” Mark said as he looked closer at it. The machine composed of two pods which were connected by a control panel in the middle. Looking at the panel, he noticed a screen and a massive “SWAP” button. Mark grew curious of what the hell he was looking at.
As Mark continued to check out the machine, he noticed a pamphlet sitting in one of the pods. Taking it off the seat, he noticed it had the same name as the paper did earlier, Swap Tech. Under the massive Swap Tech logo was the words “Swapper Machine.” He opened the pamphlet up and decided to read what it said.
“Hello user, this is Swap Tech’s latest and greatest Swapper Machine. If you are one of the few lucky people selected to own such a machine, let me first off start by congratulating you. We pride ourselves in blessing people with the ability to live life like they never could before.”
“The Swapper Machine gives the user the ability to swap certain things with other people. Want to have a new personality? How about a new body? Maybe live a new life? Or how about just swap clothes? The Swapper Machine can do that and much more. The possibilities of the machine are unlimited. Please use it responsibly.”
Mark found himself blown away with what he read. Swap bodies? Personalities? This was perfect to spice his life up. The question was, what did Mark want to swap?
