They did a Debate...

    by: Markus Author IconMail Icon
One Month later...

Ookay. So, a month has past.

Wow, they were not kidding when their debate would be long, but I didn't think it'd be this long!!

As I'm taking notes, my DP had increased massively as well. Like, a single day alone generated 420,000 DP in a day. It's fucking scary considering it means these guys are powerful enough combined to generate that large amount, if I fought them as I am I would've been decimated in the snap of a finger.

31 days of nonstop arguing, pointing fingers, quoting some wise person from here, etc. To either prove a Dungeon Core needs to be broken or not.

And thankfully the Pro-Core Party had won. I can live another day, thank God. Especially since I've gotten 13,020,000 DP?! Already?!

Luck is really on my side today!!

"So, in conclusion, the existence of Dungeons as a whole are crucial in the development, sustainability and the stability of the economy, education and general technological evolution human progress needed to reduced the risk of Dungeon Breaks." Brennan finished, "Something that the Church really needs to study again. Everything clear so far?"

Prav nodded respectfully. "I'd say I'm satisfied with the answers."

"Good. And thank God to, that was the last of my rations anyways. Judges?"

Jav and Fergus seems to discuss between themselves, but they were talking about many ways to make a Dragon Omelette. They looked back at Prav and Brennen, "Yeah, seems the results are clear." Jav said.

It looks like they're wrapping things up. Dismantling their tents, putting back everything with the podium in each and everyone's personal Hammerspace.

Meanwhile I learn a lot about the world. I learn that there's a town of Veteran to High Ranking Adventurers a few click from here. There's also a group of Church members, who are very Anti-Core and both parties are currently at conflict.

I also learn that this teams tasked of surveying is to eventually cultivate me to be a proper Dungeon Adventurers can use as a training ground/local dungeon you can go spelunking in and out. Compare to other dungeons that require a large fee to travel alone.

There were more info but... I'll sort that when we get there.

Eventually that team had left. Leaving me with the DP they had left in their stay, I check my status.

Oh man, look at those points being in the millions. Where do I even start?!

Okay first thing first. There's no telling when another adventurer is gonna be here, and when they do how do I wanna handle it?

Those last folks seems like nice people, despite everything they were reasonable enough to respect each others opinion despite everything.
Should I go for a Pacifist run? One part of their argument says there are Dungeon Towns, Towns that are made by the Dungeon Core that instead of a wild Dungeon filled with dangerous monsters, the Towns would sell different kinds of stuff and services run by sentient friendly monsters. I can run a passive DP farm only and use my Monsters as caretakers instead

But then the problem with that would be I can't fight against anyone if they're hostile, and I don't even know if I can defend myself against the Church. If Prav is the more reasonable of the bunch, who knows what kind of wackos the other Church members are like.

Then should I just form a normal hostile Dungeon against the town? I'd gain more DP outright. Making my Dungeon stronger with faster upgrades and all. But... I don't like killing humans, it makes me feel bad. Whether this is my game or not is up for debate, but one thing is for sure is that those guys are real enough I consider them Human regardless of what.

Then, I could go for a more balance strat. Kill when necessary but allow the kind to escape or given a reward. It'll be hard work balancing either one but this way I won't be a pushover Dungeon and I can try to create a Dungeon that demotivates everyone to break my Core.

What path will I pick?

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. Pacifist Run

*Noteb*
2. Kill All Humans!! Dungeon Classic

3. Try a Balance Strategy.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
