“No. I’m not leaving until you decide to be civil with me” you demanded.
A moment of silence occurred. Jess was still standing over you but almost considering your offer.
“Okay…okay. If you really want to be my friend you can start by getting me a coffee. Jess asked.
You were shocked. You couldn’t be seen getting her a coffee surely. However it would play well with the rest of the office. Jess was popular and you on the other hand was not. If you could do a few things for her it would really solidify your place with the other women in the office. You were the manager but the manager needed the support of his inferiors to be successful.
You pondered the idea and eventually came to the conclusion that it was probably the best thing to do.
“Fine okay Jess. What do you want?” you asked.
She sat down and crossed one leg over the other. You’re eyes wee fixated on her black heels dangling from her right foot.
“Americano, two sugars. Also Tom ask Amber whilst you at it she could use one. And also ask the new girl Olivia. If you want to be my friend you better have to get on the other girls sides.”
It was ridiculous what she was asking but you were so fixated on her heels you meekly nodded allowing her to giggle at your submissiveness.
You left her office and found Amber and Olivia chatting in the corridor.
Amber was wearing a tight black dress that ended just above her knees. Her legs were wrapped in nylons and she wore black flats at her feet.
Olivia was dressed in flats, over the knee socks and a cute skirt. Both women looked absolutely gorgeous so you almost felt intimidated in your approach.
“Hey, I’m getting a coffee for Jess, she asked if you wanted one.” You asked like you were some office bitch.
The girls laughed and looked shocked at you.
“What! Jess has finally got you under the palm of her hand then” Amber laughed.
“We’ll both have one then coffee bitch.” Olivia demanded.
You were their manager and now they were treating you like some coffee bitch. But you knew you had to obey in order to continue in your friendship journey with Jess.
You obeyed and went and fetched all the girls their coffees.
When you finally returned to Jess with her coffee she accepted and looked as if she was in a more friendlier mood now.
As you began to leave her office she called you back and outlined she had a few more errands she wanted you to run.
