Skylar finally woke up in his room filled with dragon type pokemon decorations. He loved dragon types the most out of all pokemon. He appreciates all types, adores certain pokemon of certain types, and wants some like an Aggron, a Machamp, Braviary, a Gardevoir, etc. However, to him, catching, training, and raising dragon types is the true sign of a trainer. Maybe that's because he's related to Lance and Clair, but he honestly believes in that argument.
And now it's his time. After his uncle pulled some strings to get him his licence early, he was more than ready to begin.
He grabs a quick bite to eat for breakfast before heading out to get his strong willed Piplup. With the confidence and gait of someone on a mission, he headed out.
"Piplup!" the starter declared as he opened the door.
Looking back, he saw his partner standing over the pokéflute they found under a tree. He wasn't sure what it was doing there, but he knew it must be important. Grabbing it, Piplup made a break for the door, almost challenging him to keep up.
