Dean was just your average, everyday guy. Nothing really special about him. Having just finished school, and eager to set out on his own, he thought he had scored the deal of a lifetime when he landed his own place at a local boardinghouse for super cheap. All his neighbors seem pretty friendly. Maybe a bit too friendly. Plus, he's the only human resident in the whole building, with everyone else being some breed of mythical creature, which are a common sight in this world.

It wasn't long before he began to notice how many of the mother residents would flirt with him whenever they passed each other, or sometimes would leave gifts for him outside his door. He certainly wasn't complaining, though. Most human women tended to straight-up ignore him, so it was nice to get some female attention once in a while.

But as is typical with men of any species, he doesn't realize that these admirers might want to be more than friends. And some of them may be willing to go to dire lengths to eliminate the competition...
