She watched as the man and the beast walked by. Her interest in the man and what he was up to intrigued her. Her blood thirst ran wild as she fought back the urge to kill the man by emptying him of blood. Being a vampire was not what you called easy, and even her Blood-hunger knew what was good and what was not. His was not, AIDS ran through his veins which was what caused her to stay far away from him, even if he did have extreme power he couldn't stop the spread of the virus. She moved from tree to tree sounding as silent as a cat on the prowl. When he stopped at the entrance of the city the two guards came to view, she felt her blood drain. His fingers clicked and what was done was done. The two guards fell to the floor. Dead.
She passed the idea of drinking them clean when she remembered what she was here for. The man leaped over the gate with agility that was beyond human ability. She moved foward, and stared in disbelief. Even magic of the sort was not as powerful as she had seen this man accomplish. She looked at the two body guards laying limp on the floor. She regretted not doing anything to save them but what could she do? His power seemed stronger than hers she not only sensed it, she felt it.
Could it be that he had been turned? Could it be that he was like her?
"That's impossible, I'm the only-" She stopped in midsentence. It could be possible.
She sighed deeply. If he is, then he knows of the one that turned him. Following him now seemed more dangerous then she thought.
