The Car

Jack started by singing a lullabye, but that didn't seem to work. So he cradeled her in his arms...no luck.
So, as tired as he was, he put little Clara in her car seat and started driving around town.
It worked! Little Clara was fast asleep in no time. When Jack came back home, he put Clara back in her cradel, and went right on back to sleep...
Jack kept doing this...
And Clara's love for cars grew and grew.

1. Clara is six, and CAN'T wait to drive!!

2. Clara is six, and has Matilda and Jack buy a play car for her
