The View From the Driver's Seat

Well, she knew as much about cars as her daddy did. It seemed only logical that she should get the chance to drive one, but the adults didn't see it that way. So one Sunday, Clara waited until her parents went down for their nap and snuck into to garage. The family car wasn't very nice. It was an old, rusty Toyota and it really needed a bath, but Clara didn't have time for that right now. She needed to get to it before Mommy and Daddy discovered that she had wandered away.
The doors were unlocked which was good because Clara had forgotten that she would need keys to start the car. She climbed in anyway. Sitting on her knees in the driver's seat, she clutched the steering wheel and made loud vrooming noises. The view was great.
