After Swizzle explains the options of muscle growth and body switching you say," That body change thing sounds interesting. Is it dangerous?"
"Only if you're human," Swizzle mutters under his breath taking out a look," Not at all, there's a chance you'll be stuck in the other person's body if the switch isn't taken back in time. But this will be a trail run of 3 days or so. Not like the month limit."
"That's good to hear," you answer with a sigh of relief," who will I be switching with."
"A young man who recently also wanted to get a potion, but didn't have the cash," Swizzle answers with a smile looking through his book.
"Oh," You say. You kind of feel like you're a rat for Swizzle to experiment on.
"Please come back at 4 o'clock for the switch," Swizzle instructs and puts a finger on your hand and you feel a tinglely sensation.
"What was that?" you ask holding your hand.
"When 4 o'clock rolls around you'll feel the need to get here ASAP," answers Swizzle with a smile," see ya then."
You wave good bye to Swizzle and walk on home with your new CD. You begin to wonder who you'll be trading bodies with and if there will be any side effects.
You arrive home to see Mike's big red truck in the driveway still.
You walk inside and hear Mike call," Is that you little bro?"
"Yeah," you answer taking off your shoes," You're awake?"
"It's 1 o'clock in the afternoon," Mike answers elsewhere in the house.
"True," you answer walking through the kitchen," where are you?"
"Sorting out my stuff," Mike answers as you walk into the living room.
You walk up the stairs and down the hall to Mike's bedroom and see that he's sitting on his chair and taking out clothes from a big cardboard box. Mike is wearing some red shorts and a white t-shirt that looks a little tight. He wore that shirt last summer and you can tell he must have gained a good 20 pounds or so. Mike's hair is short again, it was a little bit shaggy before he left for college. Mike also looks like he hasn't shaved for 3 days or so.
"Hey big bro," you say in the door way.
"Hey," Mike greets putting a pile of jeans down and turning towards you with a big smile," long time no see."
"Indeed," you agree and walk closer to Mike and over the piles of paper and clothes.
Mike gives you a big bear hug and says," I missed you. Why didn't you come to my games with Dad and Mom?"
"I'm sorry man," you say once Mike has let you go," Had to do some test and had journalism. I'm really sorry."
"It's ok," Mike says and gives you another hug. You can tell he's a bit stronger too.
"So looks like you had plenty to eat," you joke and poke Mike's belly," gain another 30 pounds?"
"Unfortunately not that much," Mike laughs putting his hands on his belly," about 20 pounds of muscle and fat."
"Making you, 300 pounds?" you ask.
"About that," Mike smiles then looks at your middle and says," Guess the food didn't stick to you."
"Nope," you sigh," hopefully soon."
"Yeah," Mike agrees," now if you'll excuse me. I gotta reorganize my room."
You nod and walk out of Mike's room and into your room and turn on your computer and begin to surf and listen to your new CD.
Soon time slips away and at 3:50 you feel the urge to get back down to Notz and Yeps. You save your game and grab your wallet and tell Mike you're going out for a bit and put on your shoes and head out the door.
It takes you 5 minutes to walk to the mall and reach Notz and Yeps.
"Welcome back my boy," Swizzle greets from behind the counter," please wait until the other guy gets here."
"Right," you agree and lean against the counter.
Swizzle attends to another costumer and another guy walks into the store. You recognize him from school. But who is he?
