This choice: Continue down to the road split. • Go Back...
Chapter #4
Waiting for a Lift
by: randomguy
You continue down the sidewalk towards the road split, thinking you'll probably head to the town center--after all, if you'd wanted to leave town, you would've kept on going into the woods. It takes you about an hour, but you reach the road split. And then you realize a problem: if you want to continue on to the center of town, you're going to have to cross the street!
Now, you've been dodging the giant people who populate this town pretty successfully, but you're not so sure about your ability at 1" tall to dodge a car moving...well, if it was going 30 miles per hour, that'd be like mach three to you. Yikes.
So standing on the corner, you realize that if you want to cross, you're going to have to wait for help.
It takes about ten minutes, but help finally arrives in the person of three girls. They all look to be in their mid-teens; must be our on the town for the afternoon. You don't have forever to choose, so you go with the two girls bracketing you. Do you jump on the sandals of the girl to your left, or the tennis shoes of the girl to your right?
