going a little cuckoo

You explore the store. There are a lot of cool things here! You notice an interesting cuckoo clock on the floor. You head over there when WHOOPS! you slip on the floor in some kind of sticky substance. Yuck! Just then you hear giant footsteps coming. You notice a man's HUGE tennis shoes heading toward you. You don't necessarily want to get discovered by a big fat guy nor do you want to get stepped on, so you climb up on the back of the clock to hide. The giant yells, "Honey, there's no price on this clock here! How much were you wanting to charge?" Your little eardrums ache in pain from the loud noise, but you better get out of sight! You quickly crawl in a hole in the back of the clock. You then realize the clock is simply facing backward, and this is the front where the cuckoo comes out. Just then the giant shopkeeper reaches down to pick up the clock so you jump on the cuckoo and hold on tight and hope for the best! Then, the shopkeeper's wife comes out from the back room.
