You can understand why some one might have done something like this. It costs a lot of money to keep a person on life support for so long. It's been three years since the accident that left you clinging to life like some small child still on her mother's apron strings.
There had been a little girl in the middle of the street trying to get her red ball that she had thrown in the wrong direction. You hadn't seen her until it was too late and the wheels of your car rolled over the her. You remember hearing a scream and then...and then...nothing. There was nothing for a long, long time.
Until now, of course. You can see your family crying, staring at your lifeless body. 'How long have they been there' you wonder. Everything seems hazy as if in a dream. You look up and there is a bright light that is brighter than the sun in a perfectly clear sky. Below you is a dark pit with a faint flickering glow. Faces are in that pit, they are filled with pain and suffering. You realize that you have a choice set before you.
