A Proposition

When they reached the large elegant doors of the throne room two servants opened them. Daniel waited outside the door as Isabelle walked up to where her parents were sitting. "Isabelle darling, I wasn't sure if you were going to come or not. You have a habbit of disobeying our wishes."

"Yes mother," Isabelle stood before her parents.

"Isabelle," King Edward addressed her. "I have a surprise for you. I know how much you want to get out of the castle for awhile. Well, I have a proposition for you."

"Oh really father, what is it?" Isabelle interrupted.

"Mind your manners Isabelle," Queen Jasmine scolded her daughter.

"Sorry."

"Now as I was saying," the King continued. "Undoubtably you heard what we were talking about in th conference room." She tried to act innocent, but he saw right through it. "Now, now. I know you and Daniel were in one of the passageways eavesdropping. I am going to send my best knights out after the Treasure of Malor and I want you to accompany them, for diplomatic negotiations. They will be treated much better if you are there. Also, Daniel wishes to become a knight, does he not? I suppose, since you two are so inseperable, he may go along as well. It can be considered his knights training. Depending upon how well he does, he may get closer to becoming a knight. What do you think?"

Isabelle responds...
