The Followers Followed

Isabelle and Daniel were down on the ground in a clearing for form the gory scene.
"That was too close," Aaid Daniel.
"Why?" Isabelle asked. "None of the knights saw us."
"But those silver things did."
there was a long paused.
"What were those things?"
"not human, whatever they are."
"Well, that's obvious."
Another long pause.
"Do you think we should go back and tell the knights?" Isabelle asked. "I need my knife back."
" I do too. But what did we just run away from?" Damiel sighed, sitting up. "Besides, they'd just return us to the palace."
Isabelle sighed. "We'd better Keep watch in case the knights leave again. we don't want to be left behind."
Daniel nodded. "I'll take first shift."
Isabelle smiled. "Thanks."
