The vent not taken

As Bob reached for her, Victoria's instincts took over. She dove into an air vent located on the counter top. Bob cursed, then grabbed a ruler and started probing into the vent. "Come out her now, Victoria. You've got nowhere to go. I'm not going to hurt you, I'm just going to have some fun. Give it a chance and you'll enjoy it too."
Not likely Victoria thought to herself, as she headed deeper into the vent. She heard Bob yelling, "Get back here now, you little bitch!"
