Trevor grabbed her wrist and pulled her away from the danger.
"Run" he yelled
She obeyed like a lost puppy.
The weather increased in intensity and the couple were soaked; scratched and nearing exhaustion.
"There" he he shouted above the wind.
The lodge was right there in front of them and in darkness. Trevor tried the door and it was unlocked.
"Thank God for this place," as he turned the key when they got inside.
It wasn't long before he got a fire going in the grate, he went into the bedroom and came out with a couple of white toweling robes.
She sat shivering in front of the fire her dark hair loose around her shoulders.
"Here, take this and take you wet clothes of or you'll get a chill," he smiled.
The young woman came out of the bedroom and put her clothes on a makeshift rope by the fire.Trevor had done the same and had made a hot coffee. she sat down bewildered.
"Fancy seeing you again."
"Trevor," she broke in to his conversation.
"Don't worry Elano your safe now." He pulled her up from the chair and put one hand a round her small waist and with the other he brushed back her curls from over her face. His heart pounded as he saw how beautiful she was as he brushed his lips against hers.
The wind howling through the lodge and branches from a shrub hitting against the glass pains on the window.
