Trevor, now's your chance! Go inside!

Trevor watched the rain subside temporarily, and decided to make a run for the lodge. His hands were soaked in sweat despite the bone chilling wind that was sending raindrops scattering in all directions. He ran through the open field, escaping any trees that may protect him from the rain- almost deliberately putting himself in the midst of the storm.
Lightening snapped a branch behind Trevor, off in the distance. It did not seem to startle or frighten him, in fact he almost slowed his pace. His eyes fixated on his destination- the lodge that was getting closer by the minute- Trevor pushed his shoulders back with a rush of adrenaline and grabbed a tree branch that almost hit him in the head. In a moment of fury, he pulled at the branch until it snapped like a twig under his strong grip. He swung the large branch back as he charged for the lodge, his eyes vacant of any emotion other than pure rage. He focused on the window, and rammed the branch through it with all his might, shattering glass all over a wooden floor.
