Eliza sat on her couch, reading cozily next to her fire. The storm outside rattled the window and the rain pelted the roof, filling the cabin with it's noise. "It's just the tree, its just the tree..." she muttered to herself. She stood up and walked towards the window. She wondered how storm was now. She reached the pane and looked out, survaying the trees and the black sky.
She shook her head. "It's getting pretty bad out there," she said. She looked closely, cupping her hands around her eyes to block out the light reflecting of the glass from inside. After a moment she gasped.
Across the large lawn and in the shelter of the forest, deeper in a shape turned and walked away. It looked like a man. Mike?
Eliza stared hard, but it was gone. She didn't know what she had seen. It was probably just her imagination....
