"Wait, who are you supposed to be?" said Rai, obviously confused.

"Nick," he said, pulling out a pistol. "And I suggest you back away from Vanessa." Rai had a gun, but he couldn't get to it. He stood up and put up his hands.

"Why have you taken her?" he said.

Nick replied by saying, "Because, she is the only one who knows where Kara went."

"I'll never tell you!" Vanessa shouted. "You betrayed her!"
