It was 12pm and Elizabeth was just returning home after her date with Ross. Although her father had previously forbidden her from seeing him, things had been going so well she had deliberately disobeyed his orders. Her father’s main concern with the relationship was the substantial age gap between the two, as Elizabeth was only 20 and Ross was in his 30’s, but she didn’t care about that. She genuinely liked Ross (or ‘Professor Gellar’ she still called him sometimes, for fun) and felt that the age gap was barely noticeable when they were together as they got along so well. As she quietly turned the key in the lock of her front door she smiled to herself, thinking of how exciting it was sneaking around dating somebody who had been deemed ‘forbidden’. Elizabeth pulled the door closed with a small ‘click’ behind her and crept towards the stairs. Just as she placed her foot on the bottom step however she heard the unmistakable sound of somebody clearing their throat which made her jump.
