For a brief moment, Snape thought of the possibilities that would accompany staying in Potter's body for a bit longer, such as purposefully failing all of his exams and causing him to flunk out of Hogwarts, or telling some of the other professors and students how he really felt about them and leaving Harry to face the repercussions. The opportunities were many, but as he looked at the two students still holding onto his arms, he quickly dismissed the idea. The last thing he wanted was to spend any minute longer than he had to in the body of a Potter, or in the company of his irritating companions.
"Unhand me at once!" Snape pulled away from Ron and Hermione.
"Harry, are you sure you're feeling alright?" Ron inquired, recognizing the difference in his character.
"You didn't get any of Neville's potion on you, did you?" Hermione reached out to touch her friend's arm in concern, but Snape pulled back in a quick jerk and turned back toward the door to his classroom only to come face to face with his former self.
The two potion victims stared at each other in a moment of awkwardness, before Harry spoke up.
"Potter! In my office, now!"
Snape said nothing, but simply began to walk toward his office. He cringed as he felt Hermione grab hold of 'his' sleeve.
"But professor, I think that Harry might be ill, you see he hasn't been acting quite right. I think he might of..."
Harry cut her off,"I know Hermio...I mean Miss Granger, which is exactly why I must speak to him in my office."
"Then we'll come, too." Ron stated.
"No! I mean,it won't be necessary. Now return to your common room before I decide to take more house points."
Ron and Hermione looked at 'Harry' and then at each other and reluctantly began walking back toward the Gryffindor common room.
"We'll wait up for you, Harry!" Ron called back.
"Don't bother..." Snape muttered, almost to himself, before gliding off to his office with Harry close behind.
"Well, Potter," Snape began as he walked over to his desk, "this is a fine mess you've caused."
"Me?" Harry inquired,"How am I to blame? You're the one who knocked the cauldron over!"
Snape inhaled and exhaled as his eyes narrowed in a way that, even from Harry's body, was undeniably Snape. "No matter what my physical appearance, I am still your professor and you will address my as such. Now sit down. We need to discuss what has to be done."
Harry took a seat and waited for his professor's words.
