Lacy touched the floor with ease, pinching the instrument of her augmentation between two fingers, casually dropping it in open palm. "Now why didn't this grow with me?" She stared at the miniature device, though true to say it was only miniature in her eyes and in her hands. "Very interesting," she remarked, "Have to make a note of this. It could be very important."
She goes silent for a moment, mouth agape after her words. Like an aftershock, the scope of success returned along with her joy. Giggling to herself she rejoices, "This is the best moment of my life!" Then she recants that statement, "No, no. The best moment will be when I see the look on those troublemakers' faces when they see me!" Another rich laugh and Lacy fell backward on her buttocks, a quake lightly resonating through the earth on impact.
She played with the device in her palm, tossing it up as if it was a toy, so caught up in a fantasy the reality is lost in glee. Lacy's eyes twinkled with promise and glowed with pride. Then from their corners noticed the rather restricting door to the lab, unfortunately not built for someone of her proportions, but still they did not dim.
"No problem," Lacy smiled at the challenge, "All I need to do is use the Restore setting!" Thinking she had thought of everything, it seemed the one tiny, unforeseen circumstance sitting in her palm derailed the whole train. "Okay," her oversized fingers fiddled with the controls, "okay, no problem. I just. I just, come on! No! No!"
What luck she carried before must not have grown with her, as all attempts of returning to normal fail. Lacy's frustration roared through her mind and mouth, but still she remained reserved, "Alright, this isn't working."
