To a warrior like Renamon, waste was the only truly disgusting thing. Wasted movement, wasted energy. She prided herself on efficiency. She also prided herself on following Rika faithfully, through thin and...thick. These two prides combined so that Renamon regarded the plate still half-full of dumplings as a challenge. She would not waste this food and she would not have it beat Rika. Beat them.
Rika watched drowsily as Renamon began eating. Only that ever-present iron will showed itself in their mental link.
"What...what are you doing?" Rika asked sleepily. Her energy was sapped by the huge meal, all her energy going to her digestive system. Renamon kept eating.
"We do everything. Together." Renamon said between bites. Rika gave a sharp laugh. She and Renamon were two of a kind - they didn't do anything half way. They didn't leave anything unfinished. Rika, leaning back and slightly onto Renamon. She reached over and rubbed her partner's toned and fluffy stomach. Renamon stopped and looked at her.
"What are you doing?" she asked. Rika was never so forward. Behind closed doors was another matter. But Rika was clearly not in her head, her massive meal leaving her practically dazed.
"What's the big deal?"
"People..." Renamon eyed the rest of the restaurant as she ate. None seemed to be paying them any attention.
"Like I said. Screw them." Rika said. Renamon recognized it was more than that, however. Rika had bared her soul, her deepest desire, and Renamon not only accepted but was now partaking in it. They were closer than ever, and both could feel it. Renamon redoubled her efforts on the dumplings. Digimon were not human, and her stomach was far more forgiving of the huge influx of food. It was a struggle, but she soon had the dumplings defeated. Rika and Renamon traded a long look.
"I think we should get home." Rika said. Her voice had an unusual edge to it. Renamon wasn't sure what to make of it. Then something made it via their link. Lust. It was not the first time either of them had felt it, but it was a rare event. Neither seemed quite sure how far to take it. But Renamon couldn't find a trace of that uncertainty in Rika now. Renamon smiled to herself. Likely, Rika would fall asleep in her arms before anything happened. Then again, she'd fall asleep...in Renamon's arms. There were much worse things than that. Renamon helped Rika up.
