Tyler was just a normal human fifteen year old boy from New Jersey, thank you very much. After his folks died he was left in the custody of his grandpa, but he didn't give a damn about Tyler's existence. After about a year of country living (he originally hated it) he gotten used to it. However, all his life he never had someone to call a friend.
It is June 7th, the first day of summer vacation and his sixteenth birthday. Tyler knew his kin didn't get him anything but he didn't care. So the least Tyler could do is try to find a job somewhere. Here his life turns upside-down.
As Tyler walked down the wooded driveway of his grandpa's property, a hooded figure jumped out of woods and knocked him to the ground. The figure then grabbed Tyler's bag and ran off into the woods. Acting on instinct, Tyler got to his feet and pursued the thief.
He chased the thief deep into the woods. Then somewhere in the heart of it, the bandit jumped into a tree big enough for two people to fit inside. Tyler followed. But then something happened, he was falling into a deep hole, not just that but it was just like Alice in Wonderland. Instead of a tall room like in the story, there were strange lights all around him.
Then finally he softly landed on some kind of plant. Around him he was in some kind of cave, but ahead of him was daylight. Tyler then approched the light thus leaving the cave. Upon exiting, he sarcastically said to himself, "Looks like we're not in Kansas anymore."
He walked out into a clearing in an unfamillar wooded area. There are mountains in the backround as well, but there are no mountains in Jersey. And there is a clear water river in his sights. Thats strange because he lived nowhere near a river.
Along the river Tyler noticed that there are fresh footprints on the ground, possibly the thief. They appear to be heading downstream so Tyler followed them. Eventually he spots a village that suggests that he is in a different part of the world at a different era. How the buildings were built suggests he is in...
