I gasped as Ashley suddenly started growing before my eyes.
"Ashley, youre growing!" I said.
"No Im not..." she said "Youre shrinking"
"WHAT?"
I gasped as I kept shrinking and shrinking and shrinking. Everything grew around me and then it stopped.
"Woah, cool!" Ashley said, kneeling down in front of me. "Aw...Look how little you are..."
She reached her hand down at me and I ran away quickly, frightened by the size of her now. Even though I knew she was my friend, she was still big enough to kill me.
"Its okay" she said, "Get in my hand, I wont hurt you...."
And so, I stepped onto her hand and she stood up slowly, bringing me up to eye level. Her face stood before me like a building as she examined me carefully.
"I just cant believe how small you are"
"Not so loud" I shyed away, as her regular voice was loud enough to hurt me. Her breath coming from her mouth smacked into me like a tropical breeze, almost knocking me over.
"Sorry" she whispered "So what should I do with you?"
"Help me grow back..." I whimpered
"Not sure if I can..." she frowned "But c'mon, Ill hold you in my pocket until the school day's done, okay? Then we'll see what I can do for you"
And so, she slipped me carefully into her pants pocket. I sighed and decided to wait out the long day.
