Phil thought about how to respond, but Karen didn't give him the chance. When she got up to Ms Prittey's desk, she asked her teacher "is it okay if he sits at my desk? He is my boyfriend after all." Ms Prittey looked at the two for a second and said "sure, I don't see why not. In fact, you can be responsible for getting him to all his classes."

Phil started to protest, but Karen closed her hand around him, muffling anything he said. She then brought him back to her seat, and placed Phil on her desk. The tiny boy looked up at her and said "you know, I never actually agreed to be your boyfriend." Karen smiled and said "as if you actually get a say in this." She then went back to her work, as Phil stared up at her. From his angle he thought she looked beautiful, a magestic giantess at such close range. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad.

When class ended, Karen picked Phil up and walked out of class. Ms. Prittey called after her "remember Karen, you're responsible for getting him to his next class." Karen stopped at her locker, and put Phil down inside. As she was gathering her books, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and saw three senior girls looking down at her. Karen had never met them before, but they didn't look friendly.

"So," one of them said, "rumor has it you're dating a mouse." The others started laughing. Karen replied "he's not a mouse, he's a really cute guy." "Isn't that sweet Missy," another said to the first girl, "she has a crush on a mouse." "I know Lacy," Missy said, "freshmen are just the cutest." The third girl spoke up, asking "hey, is that him in your locker?" Karen turned around, and the four girls looked at Phil, who was more than a little confused by the exchange. "You're right, Mandy," Lacy said, "and he is kinda cute."

Missy turned to Karen and said "tell you what sweety, we have a free now, why don't you run along to class and we'll show your boyfriend a good time." Karen said "no, that's okay, I have to get him to class." She then picked Phil up and started walking, but Mandy blocked her way. Missy got in Karen's face and said "should I ask again?"
