Did I feel attached to the story or poem?

I am so attached to my childhood home and this piece brought back so many feelings and memories of it. I love the line a memory is just a memory until with love it's called back. How powerful that line is! Memories with love are the only ones worth holding on to.


Would I recommend this piece of writing to someone else?

One of my favorite songs is by Miranda Lambert, the House that Built me. This poem reminds me so much of that song. It's hard for me not to cry when I hear it. There is so much good in the world and people sometimes forget it's there. The power of a piece like this is its ability to bring us back to that idea.


Was there a clear purpose to it?

Yes, it's the power of assigning love to what's important in our lives and reflecting on gratitude and love.

You have written so many great lines here. Every one them tells a mini story with it's own set of visuals. Sentimental pieces like this evoke so much positivity, it's hard to remain negative in that moment. It's like a shot of goodness in a moment in time. I was happy to read it.
