Overall Impression:

This is a cute little story, dear author! It's amazing how much you managed to pack within such a limited word count!

I chose this item because I loved the title. The story definitely lives up to it. You created a nice amount of tension through the use of clever imagery - the barking, the fangs, the girl rushing up the tree. Then, that tension is broken, allowing the reader to smile. I love the term "big doggie heart". That pretty much sums it up.

Within the span of 55 words, there is conflict of a sort, and resolution. You painted a clear picture of the two characters. I liked your writing style. Overall, I say well done!

Suggestions:

I have no suggestions, dear author. I could spot no errors. Didn't see anything I felt in need of a tweak. Great job.
