Review brought to you by: "Game of Thrones" by Gaby PLOT - Geoffrey is on a ski trip with his family and a cousin he doesn't like very much, who he dubs slimeball. Slimeball is a pro on the snowboard, and flaunts it well, making sure that Geoffrey knows he cannot compete against him, though he does try. SETTING - Good descriptions of the snow slopes as they compete and Geoffrey gets used to this new sport, relying on his knowledge of skateboarding. CHARACTERS - Geoffrey, who doesn't mind a challenge, especially if he can one up his cousin. Thomas has no problem showing off, and making sure Geoffrey knows his place. Primrose who encourages Geoffrey and ignores Thomas' remarks. GRAMMAR/SPELLING/DIALOGUE - Dialog fit well with the story. THOUGHTS - Nice story of winter and snowboarding for your characters. The addition of Primrose broke up the bickering of the cousins and gave Geoffrey the boost he needed to take on the challenge. Some people cannot take the competition and go out of their way to make sure things turn in their favor. The twist of the ending surprised me. Not so much that Thomas wound up marrying Primrose, but that he would give his cousin boost when it came to running the slopes in snowboarding. It makes him not look as bad as he seems and I question my first impression of him. Nicely done!
