*Earth* *Heart* Happy Earth Day Azrael Tseng! *Sun**Tree*

*Earth*Oh wow! I am a tree hugger and it was so sad to think of the trees and the saplings being destroyed. The metaphor the teacher gave was moving and I wonder how a child would feel being like a sapling only to be cut down. What a sad thought. Good metaphor.

*Earth* I could see the little ones planting the trees and the shock of one showing up to water and.... what is seen! *Shock* I love the phrase "tree-to-be -charm". *Heart* Wonderful.

*Earth* The image in the third verse is potent. The comparison to "porrige" and the "colours" is effective. The summation lines is really a brilliant twist and shows one interpretation of future "building". Wow! What an amazing notion contrasting the two futures.

*Earth*The poem really honours the earth in expressing deep truths from a natural and manmade points of view. It evokes us to question the vitalness of the rationale for more pavement. It reminds me of a time I was walking in a park by the water, where there was a stony natural path along the water and bluff. One day I was there and they were making it concrete path right in the middle of the lovley park, picnic grounds. I could almost feel the earth cry and I was really peeved!! *Angry* I couldn't believe the insanity. We go there to be in nature and the path was fine for walking, biking etc. and natural under the bare feet. Ruined it for me. LOL

*Earth* Your form was balanced in rhyme and rhythm and it was fun to read aloud with a fine soundscape and drama. The voice was authentic and its tone varied with the different images as if in reaction. It was well conceived and achieved! *Starstruck*

*Tree*Thanks so much for sharing your vision and your honouring of trees! *Smile* The title is so sweet and added potency to the evocation of sadness at the end. Good hook!

Light on the path as you write on!
