Hey 👼intuey Author Icon,

How are you doing today? I read your entry "Ties To The PsycheOpen in new Window. for this month's "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window. earlier this week and wanted to swing by and leave a quick review on one of the poems that you shared. What you said in your entry really stuck with me... how important it is to keep dreaming and how you've been scarred from life.

It's interesting because my professors really preach having an internal locus of control, you know, where you believe that you influence the things that happen in your life and their outcome. I think that's great and all, but sometimes life does just happen to you, and there's nothing you can do about it. I think your poem sort of reflects that a bit. I especially noticed it in these lines:

Then you're thrown into a time warp,
tossed into the future of now.
Return trip ticket:
nonvalid, expired.

I loved those last two lines especially because they're so definite and unforgiving. I hope you are able to pick up some of those pieces and put them back together, not to create the same dream, but a new one at least. I think you definitely got your point across with this poem, and I think others can relate. You know I'm always a message away if you ever need anything. *Heart*
