What brought Hoovsie meandering in a space time continuum over to your port?

*Cow* I am participating in the I Write in 2019 activity, just as you are. It is my honor and privilege to read your fine story.

What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* I thought about war and the dedication of soldiers and sailors on both sides. They didn't have many choices in what went on, but the choice to do one's duty always can be very confining and can lead to ultimate doom, if you follow the wrong leader.

There was clever tactical thinking on both sides or it wouldn't have gone on as long as it did.

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

I liked how the German Captain weighed his options all through out. It made it almost honorable, but with that reminder word (Internment) you effectively convey the horror of the monstrous entity they were all serving.

I thought this was a very well written and well researched piece of historical fiction.

Making a Difference One Review at a Time in 2019! My goal is not a detailed critique or a harsh editing foray. I do not enjoy that. I did enjoy reading your story very much - it gave me a lot to think about and ponder. I am a student of the history of the 30s and 40s especially.
It was a time of difficult choices for the whole world, which is very effectively presented in your story -
