Dang! I don't much about poetry (cuz I don't understand it most of the time), but I really liked this one!
I know this could be construed as a bit anti-religious, or perhaps even sacrilegious, but whether it is or it isn't, it still a mighty fine piece of free verse poetry! I love the style you used, mainly the 6th and 7th stanzas, and the words you used to describe your mother (a recluse, having two different yet somewhat similar meanings: a recluse human being as opposed to a 'recluse' spider, a.k.a. Loxosceles reclusa, Sicariidae) was ingenious!
Excellent job, my friend! And a very unique way to use that picture prompt!
