As a poet, you start your journey. It is a practical note of extreme grief for a deceased lover. That is full of absolute mourning, which can touch our hearts. It is the picture of true love. So, even after the death of that lover, time is flowing, but those sweet memories remain as it is.
It is a good beginning. Keep writing.
