A "Game of Thrones" review from The views and opinions on this review are mainly the things discovered by the reader and therefore, do not reflect necessarily to the group, activity and/or event being affiliated herein. Hello Creeper Of The Realm First impression: Westeros is both my favorite and my least favorite destination with its Tedious Citadel Tasks, the Writing Challenges and the Potions. What works: The Tedious Citadel Tasks are a great mix of all things that can be done on Writing.Com. Everyone can find several tasks that they can accomplish easily. Some take a little longer, but they are also usually rewarded with a good amount of game points. What needs work: The Story and Poetry challenges are not bad, but it's not quite clear what needs to be done. There are no prompts. There is no indication whether the story has to be new or old. The rules could use some tightening up. The Potions are similarly unclear. It appears that the 23 possible potions are a relatively random way to create 23 magical artifacts, but they hold no real life value. For instance, it's not possible to make a potion that will give the bearer the possibility to make her or his stories or reviews count for more points in Game of Thrones. While that is obviously a fair rule, because everyone would simply equip all other team members with never-ending additional points, the guidelines and limitations of the potions make me wonder why they are here. They are, of course, a writing challenge. So there is always that. Final thoughts: As mentioned in the beginning, I like this page a lot because of the Citadel Tasks. I think this page could be only for the Citadel Tasks and it would not lose its appeal. (Might be easier to administer too)
