I'm stopping by to review your entry to the "The Writer's Cramp" ! I had a fun time reading your poem about tax time. Why is it that it comes around so fast? Lol! Your title does a great job on grabbing the reader's attention, and so does the description. I also saw the fun color of the font. Now why would you choose green? I learned a little something by reading your poem. I see that you have a deadline of April 15th. In Canada we have another two weeks--April 30th. I just automatically assumed that we'd all be on the same "page." I also learned that April 15th was the day the Titanic sunk. I didn't know that either, but I thought it was clever to add that into the poem. With the tax code stanza, I can relate to it for sure. I swear there's a guy up in a little room, who sits there and tries to make it harder every year to file your taxes. I really liked how it worked up to a funny ending, and of course, you just had to add a little 'tune' to finish it off, too. Lol! The last stanza tied it all up in a neat bow, and wow, great job on the rhyming of those two words. I don't think that was an easy thing to do, but it all fit to leave the reader with a laugh. Well done! Lornda My review has been submitted for consideration in "Good Deeds Get CASH!" .
