Undoubtedly, it's a thoughtful poetry. The narrator is living his life. In his heart, a ghost roaming randomly. Her sweet voice mesmerized him. He wishes to build a relationship but he can't.
In reality, we are souls. God remains there as an eternal soul. He is in our hearts but we can not meet him except the true devotees until death due to our sinful deeds. After death, God embraces us. The teller wants to meet God and wants to spend a devoted life. That wish may direct you to lead a sacred life.
