*CakeB* HAPPY WDC ACCOUNT ANNIVERSARY FROM "Anniversary Reviews*CakeP*

Hello, HollyMerry!

INITIAL IMPRESSION / OVERVIEW:

*Bulletg* Wow! You wrote a fantastic and fun to read article about helping butterflies thrive and the importance of doing so.

*Bulletg* Your writing kept me riveted and I read straight through to the end.

MORE DETAILED FEEDBACK:

*Bulleto* Happy Writing.Com Anniversary month! I saw this article in the past but didn't have time to read it then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "July" file. *Smile* ). I hope you enjoy this review as a celebration of your time here and find the review uplifting.

*Bulleto* You made me appreciate you even more with this wonderful article. I also love butterflies and do my best to provide nice habitats for them. I imagine we get different kinds as I hadn't heard the names of some of yours (though I will look them up soon, especially the Peacock and Brimstone ones) and some of my favorites weren't mentioned. That's to be expected though, with you being in the United Kingdom and me being in the United States of America.

*Bulleto* I was happy to see that you mentioned ways for everyone, even apartment dwellers, to help butterflies. Patio / balcony pots are a great idea.

*Bulleto* I thought it was interesting that the flower names were kind of different in some cases too. You've given me more research to do. I love flowers almost as much as I love butterflies.

*Bulleto* I think you might have inspired me to grow some nettles next year. *Smile* I do grow a lot of things for butterflies already, but not those. We have monarch butterflies here and they are endangered, I think. They only lay their eggs on one plant - milkweed - so I grow it, even though it's kind of ugly after its done blooming. I let it be until after the first frost, because I don't want to risk hurting any butterfly eggs or caterpillars. It is neat watching the caterpillars feed on the leaves. They munch away at a faster pace than I would have thought possible.

*Bulleto* Just today I had a black swallowtail (not sure of the official name) and monarch dance around me and some smaller ones I don't know the names for in my garden too. Like you, I grow a lot of flowers for the beautiful butterflies. Some I grow for both the butterflies and hummingbirds. And it seems that the honeybees love all the flowers the butterflies do so it's win-win-win. *Smile*

*Bulleto* I loved your thumbnail picture for this article. I wondered where it came from and if maybe it was some of your own artwork? Regardless, it's lovely and perfectly appropriate.

*Bulleto* I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your nonfiction article about butterflies.

*Bulleto* I thought the animal, nature, and home / garden genres you selected were perfect for this nonfiction article about butterflies of yours.

IDEAS TO MAKE YOUR PIECE STRONGER:
In the spirit of helpfulness (and because of the rules of Tour de Ports review challenge I'm in require that, I have a suggestion to make your piece stronger. I'm having to dig deep for this as I really thought your piece was well done as it is though. So if you want to skip this part, no worries at all! Just move on to the next section and know that I enjoyed your nonfiction article about butterflies.

*Bulletv* The only thing I can think of, if your membership level allows it, is to add some butterfly pictures. If you had pictures of the ones I hadn't seen before, I would have loved that. It's not necessary, of course, but it'd be a super neat addition.

CONCLUSION:

*Bulletv* You have a great writing style and I greatly enjoyed reading your nonfiction article about butterflies. It made me feel like we were kindred spirits. *Heart*

*Bulletv* Thank you for sharing your time, creativity, heart, love of butterflies, and writing with the Writing.Com community!

*Bulletv* Once again, happy anniversary month! I hope the year ahead is filled with blessings and joy for you!

May love, joy and peace be yours in abundance!
PWheeler
