Between your lovely handle, this story, and a poem of yours that I liked (and of which tucked away the link for a future review), I decided to "fan" you.

I appreciated your sense of humor throughout this piece. And, wow, you've got a family of nine! Does that mean you have seven children? You must be a wonder woman!

My favorite line was the last: "I never had to say a thing. But funny thing- he never wears that coat anymore!" LOl! No wonder! (Anyone reading this review really ought to read her story to see what I mean here - it's short and easy to read and worth the couple of minutes.)

I wondered if your husband was one of the men in the picture at the bottom or if that was just to show the kind of coat? I also wondered if this was written for a contest here? Perhaps the daily flash fiction contest or Lornda's humorous short story contest?

I didn't notice any spelling or grammatical mistakes (or mistakes of any kind) in your humorous non-fiction story.

I would love to have something great to share here, but I think it's wonderful as it is. Well done!

The only things I could think to improve have nothing to do with your story's writing, it would be just to add a little note section answering the questions I had. Probably I'm not the only one who would wonder about those two things. But it's totally up to you, of course. Just my two cents.
