I read this blog post of yours sometime in the past and enjoyed it, but didn't have time to review it right then, so I flagged it for an anniversary review (meaning I saved the link to it in a special "September" file. ). Wow, what an applicable quote for your life! Good on you for pushing through the fear and being brave and doing so many amazing things! I might have to save that quote to my quote file. I also left "not just home, my brothers, friends, my house but my country" but it was temporarily and I was a teenager so it just felt like an adventure (thinking of when I joined the military). So what you did is even more impressive because it was "scary as hell" to you.

My favorite line was the last: "Yes life is scary, but we need to take a big breath and just Do It." Good advice! Did you know Nike's slogan when you wrote it? I don't know if Nikes are popular in your country or if that's even still their slogan. It was when I still watched commercials, but it's been a long time since then.

How exciting that you've been scuba diving! I'll have to look up abseiling. I have no idea what that is? Some kind of sailing?

I loved that you joined your local writer's group despite feeling like you didn't belong. I hope you do feel like you belong now. You are a writer!
