“Plant seeds every single day that you know who you are, you know what you’re about, and you know what goals you’ve set for yourself.”
Stephen Curry
“Celebrate endings—for they precede new beginnings.”
Jonathan Lockwood Huie
“Don’t be scared if you don’t do things in the right order. I didn’t think I’d have dessert before breakfast today, but hey, it turned out that way and I wouldn’t change a thing.”

Twenty-twenty-two is a new chapter in the book of your life,
a chapter containing 365 pages
waiting to be filled.
Each of us have a choice when it comes to filling the pages of our book. We can fill them with opportunities taken, accomplishments, gratitude, joy, or regrets. If we do something one day that we do not like or are not proud of, we can change that the next day. Each day is an opportunity to ask forgiveness, help another person, or practice a virtue that we want to reflect to others.
If we do not like situation occurring in our lives we have the choice to change our attitude or find a way to change the situation. We have this choice because we are spiritual beings having a physical or material experience. Whatever situation we encounter is intended to help our souls develop virtues that they will need once our souls are separated from our physical bodies. This means that, while we live in the material world, we have a chance to make changes in our lives.
What are you going to write in the chapter of 2022? Have you made goals that are both spiritual and material or physical? Are you going to write a novel? Are you going to say daily prayers and express gratitude for the opportunity life on the material plain affords you? Do you keep a blog or journal that records your spiritual and material accomplishments?

Jacqueline writes: I didn't know my Grandparents on both sides. My mum use to keep cards that had a beautiful words inside them.
Quick-Quill writes: Years ago I wrote and directed Christmas Pageants. One challenge we had was to find parts for small and primary-aged children. I read my Christmas card and when the season was over I cut the covers off some of the cards with beautiful passages. The following year I divided the passages to be given to the beginner age. The longer pieces were given to the older kids. Recycling is wonderful.
