Letter from the editor

Did you accomplish all the writing and editing you wanted to in 2021? If not, a New Year is approaching and you have a chance to complete that novel you did not finish. You have a chance to finish or start editing that novel, which has been resting in your port for more than a month.

I have items in port that I want to finish and/or edit. Those are the following science fiction or fantasy novels: (1) "Mark of the Blue WolfOpen in new Window., (2) "Star OrphanOpen in new Window., and (3) "ScavengersOpen in new Window.. I have not done anything with them, since they were written, because I did not write them down as specific goals. Nor did I put them in my schedule to work on.

Blurbs from the three novels.

Introduction to "ScavengersOpen in new Window.: Life of a Scavenger - "The life of a scavenger, to those who have never lived it, seems romantic and exciting. The truth is it is dangerous for short periods of time interspersed with light years of boredom. The rewards are great, if you come across new technology that can be sold for its proper value. However, in many cases the buyer does not want to pay the real value. Many time the technology you think you've found is something else altogether. Then there is the problem of getting the technology off the planet or moon it is on. I have not mentioned the guardians of the technological objects you find. There is an old saying, quoted by all scavengers: Beware the unguarded technological artifact, it is its own guard."

"Star OrphanOpen in new Window. "Background story for Salena MonroeOpen in new Window. "'Congratulations, Salena," said Commander Silas Andrew (Sam to his friends) Monroe as his adopted daughter stepped onto the bridge of the Night Dragon. "You've passed all your test. You are now qualified to pilot a survey ship. Let's go into my office so we can talk.'"

"Mark of the Blue WolfOpen in new Window. Prologue: Price of the Wolf Stone - "Wolf Grayson, his sapphire eyes sparkling in the firelight, stared at the stone which was both a blessing and a curse to his linage. Grim, his father, had sold the stone to King Drago Nielsen, of the Kingdom of the Crested Towers, with the promise that the stone would restore Nielsen's once great empire to its former glory. The price Grim Grayson ask was more then fair, an entire valley (within the Nine Valley's of the Crested Towers) and the title of Lord in exchange for the stone. What Grim did not tell King Nielsen was the price the stone itself required."

Do you have any questions? What writing projects do you want to finish or edit in the coming year?
