Excerpt: What is it that makes men yearn for outer-space? What is that longing desire we all have to reach the stars? It tugs at our very souls, softly calling out to come home . . . .
A fun limerick.
Excerpt: I love a good joke. I also love PUNS, love seeing people smile or groan when they hear a good joke.

Excerpt: Lying on her back in the stinking darkness, young Aeryn Matteyus woke cold and confused, her shoulders and hips one big ache. Shivering on a hard surface that pitched and rolled, she tried to sit up, but her hands - shackled to a support beam over her head - prevented her from doing so.
Excerpt: Because of its proximity to the sea, the dungeon air was always cold and dank, filled with the odor of urine, feces, and what passed for his daily ration of food.

This month's question: Have you tried writing scripts? Tell us about your experience.
Answer below Editors love feedback!
Last month's "Action/Adventure Newsletter (February 16, 2022)" question: What other hero types do you know?
Monty : Hero's come in all types from wars to just that plain man who risks his life to save someone from drowning or death from any thing.
Prosperous Snow celebrating : Another type of hero is a hero of faith or a faith hero. This is a person such as a saint or someone who is martyred for their belief in God, one of His Prophets,or for humanity. Examples of these are Christ, The Bab, Tahirih (the Persian poet), or Saint Valentine.
🌕 HuntersMoon : Veterans, doctors, nurses, EMT members... the list goes on.
Adherennium - Maybe Writing? : The hero out of time: In a historical setting, this hero exhibits modern values, usually at odds with the ruling class of the period he is actually in.
The One: Think Harry Potter, Luke Skywalker, destiny's selection to perform a heroic task.
The anti-hero: Whilst being of questionable morals, still acts as a force for good, think Clint Eastwood in any of his spaghetti westerns, especially 'The Good, The Bad and the Ugly'
Starling : Many people around me.
THANKFUL SONALI Library Class! : My Dad, my family, my friends, my Doctors ...
Massive Friendly Derg : Those on the front line and unsung.
N.A Miller : R.L Ermy... Charles Durning... War Heroes in their own right from two different wars. But nevertheless heroes of our country... gone actors... Heroes who deserve recognition.
tybo777: Sonic the hedgehog!
s : Don't have one.
I don't want to emulate anyone, nor do I look up to some-one. There are famous people whose works I like, but as to whether they are "heroes"... I don't think so. No sports-people, no artists, no soldiers, nothing.
As to my writing, I like the "everyman" and "reluctant" hero tropes. In horror, they help ground the reality you are trying to subvert.
In real lufe, though, I do not have heroes. And I hope no-one out there sees me as their hero.
I am not a Bonnie Tyler...
elephantsealer : I think and I believe that men and women who have beeen in the war (whether domestic or foreign) are heroes. The need to go and fight in order to live free is a worthy cause...
david : Sadly most people turn to their Heroine, pun intended in times of stress not a hero.
Anna Marie Carlson : My father was my hero when I had a nervous breakdown. When I slapped my face hard, he gently took ahold of my arm and said to me, "Honey, you don't want to do this to yourself, you're my daughter and I love you." He saved my life.
TheBusmanPoet : Nicola Tesla. The inventions and ideas he had are powering the world all around his. He left an indelible impression upon our planet. He was so far ahead of his time.
Kitty : Ochako Uraraka
