I give thanks to those who came before me,
I give thanks to those who will come after me,
I give thanks to those who surround me.
November always brings to mind gratitude. Maybe it has to do with Thanksgiving and the pleasant memories I have of spending Thanksgiving with my grandparents. My one regret is that I never said thank you to either my graChndma or grandpa. Since it is too late to say thank you to them personally, I will write them a letter.
Dear Grandma and Grandpa,
Thank you for making my childhood Thanksgivings memorable.
Grandpa, thank you for the Black Fridays spent looking for living Christmas Trees. Thank you for the Saturday's spent decorating the trees.
Grandma, thank you for the homemade pumpkin pies. Thank you for the hot chocolate we drink while decorating the tree. Thank you for the sweet iced tea you served with the Thanksgiving feast. Thank you for for showing me how to set the table and bast a turkey.
Your loving Granddaughter
I challenge you all to write a letter of gratitude to someone you are grateful for.
