The end is near,
And you have nothing to fear,
Or do you?
There is an old saying that goes something like this 'we have nothing to fear but fear itself.' While that may be true, the events surrounding the closing of 2024 makes many people think otherwise.
Fear is something every individual must face. Each author, each character in your fantasy or science fiction story, and each animal. Sometimes the animals have an easier time facing fear, because they can fight or run away. It can be more difficult for human beings or characters in stories because of the possibility of being paralyzed by fear.
How does one overcome paralyzing effects of fear? That depends on the individual and any past experiences they have dealt with and overcome. How do your characters overcome fear? Can you use some of the ways you overcome fear to help your characters overcome fear?
