Spring comes bringing the scent of new growth and new life. For me that new life is in a long-term care facility. Therefore I will write both a new fantasy story and poem.
Welcome to spring! Alright I know that the first day of spring is still a several days away. It doesn't matter because I have that spring feeling. You know the one that causes your sinuous to stop up while making your heart to sing because the weather is warming. You nolonger have to wear three layers of clothing to keep warm.
This spring is a new beginning for me. Therefore I am going to celebrate it by writing a new fantasy or science fiction story and/or poem. However, since I am in a long-term care facility I will use that as part or all of the setting. To complicate the process, I am still learning to type on my tablet.
Since moving into the facility, I have wondered how a dragon, unicorn, or some other fantasy creature would respond to living in a long-term care facility. I am looking forward to planning and writing again. I need to do some more research on the rites of spring so that I can include them because I think that will be the story title. At this moment the only rite of spring I am familiar with is the May Poll.
