The Law of Love Attraction
I often wonder if love can be determined solely by attraction. While many believe that love develops from a specific type of attraction, I think there’s more to it.
This leads me to the concept of the law of attraction, which suggests that we can attract positive qualities in others to achieve the kind of connection we desire. This concept can certainly aid in generating love when combined with other essential elements.
Here are some types of attraction to consider, that we can use as Romance Author in our fiction or nonfiction love stories:
1. Physical Attraction- We each have different perceptions of physical beauty, making it unique to each individual. As the saying goes, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Many writers use this method to depict their characters, particularly villains, to create a dynamic interplay of attraction and displeasure.
2. Qualities Attraction- Beyond physical appearances, qualities play a significant role. Often, people are drawn to those who possess admirable traits, making it easier to fall in love.
3. Magnetic or Destined Attraction- This type of attraction feels innate, as if lovers are destined to be together, similar to the gravitational pull between magnets. This strategy is frequently employed in romantic storytelling.
4. Manipulative Attraction- This involves a more strategic approach to attraction. Authors can manipulate the narrative through observation and analysis, employing classic techniques passed down through generations, like those love potions, superstition and others.
5. Power of Self-Attraction- Did you know that we have an inherent self-attraction that we can enhance? By focusing on self-improvement through practices such as education, training, meditation, and positive thinking, we can enhance our natural allure.
I came across a beautiful quote on Facebook that resonates with my NL this week idea
"Don't waste your time chasing butterflies. Mend your garden, and the butterflies will come." source:unknown.
This wisdom suggests that by nurturing our qualities, we can attract the right connections into our lives.
Ultimately, developing what we already possess is vital, as it aligns with the belief that we all have innate value bestowed upon us, as been said and proved God knows what's best for us.
