Life without action is static, and by necessity, it would therefore be dead. Action writing takes the normal and shares it for all to live vicriously.
Adventure is the spice: the exciting, adrenalin-pumping, thrill that makes one feel so alive. Everyone has an adventuresome spirit. Maybe dreams of excavating some long-lost treasure, visiting a new country, or trying a new flavour of potato chip. Some of us prefer our adventures to come between the pages of a book, and many of us like to write that adventure.

** Favourite A/A Movie Flicks - Final Stages **
1. Single Movie
We're getting close readers. I hope you can all stay with me as we do this, the second to last step before the final decision (crunch) time.
Many of the contenders have shown great strength through each knock-out round, however as the choices narrow, some hard-line decisions are required.
This round will reduce your picks to a mere 5 films, from which the overall winner will be chosen.
So consider carefully. Many wonderful films sadly will not make the cut, and it's over to you to make sure your favourite has a chance to stay in the fight.

There was a tie for fifth place in one of the sections of last round, so I decided to include both films that tied. For that reason, this poll has an extra choice:

2. Serial
The lowest scoring set was Star Trek. The other four which did not make it through all received an equal number of votes.
Here is the poll to decide the once-and-for-all winner of the serial/trilogy competition. I anticipate the decisions will be hard, as you combat fond memories, argue loudly with your heart, and eventually take a stand.

These are just a few of the many comments I received to the Movie Mania process. These ones I wanted to share because they made me smile...or laugh...
Dude! The way you have those grouped makes it hard! But that's good; you should have to think about it. What scares me right now is that I've actually seen every single one of those movies. I guess I've just figured out what my favorite film genre is, huh?

What happened with #5?! The only part where I would vote for every movie, if I could.

Great variety of movies in these choices!
